Clash Of The Indie Week 17

For the first time ever we are bringing the “Nu Rock Clash” directly on the Radiorockcafe website. This showcasing feature has been a viewer/listener favorite on the station and we thought it was about time to bring it to everyone that reads the Radiorockcafe.com website.

Every friday, during Freaky Fridays, we will premiere the two Indie band selected tracks and start the battle. Also, if you’ve missed the show, we will allow you to listen in and vote on on the website.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later.

After being voted champion for 5 weeks Canada based band, Modified and their newly release track “Die To Resist” has been defeated by Miclordz & Sauce Funky and their song “My World” . Modified falls short of the record of 6 consecutive weeks held by “Seydr”.

So, in week number 17 of our friendly contest where YOU decide which band makes it as the “Nu Rock Champ“,  Message to Venus will try to stir things up with their latest release “Change” and will try to dethrone the newly named champion!

Listen in LIVE every friday at 9pm EST time for the premiere of the challenge OR listen to each track below and vote!

Miclordz & Sauce Funky – My World

Message To Venus – Change

BeN

Radio hosting, for BeN, began in April of 2008 after meeting the director of another radio station. Not long after that, he noticed that the views of that director and his views were totally different. So began, on November 1st 2008, the big Radiorockcafe adventure. Promoting the Indie bands is what BeN is all about and he gets pretty vocal about discrimination towards the Indies and also on how the music business is being lead into a brick wall.
