BeN’s 2011 Indie Top 15

Written by BeN. Posted in Blog - BeN, Host Blogs, Indie

2011 has been an awesome year for Radiorockcafe in the Indie music department.

684 Indie bands are in our music library making up for well over 6600 Indie tracks. Thank you to all of your, the Indie bands & artists that believe in the whole Radiorockcafe project.

This countdown is by no means a judgment call on the music that did NOT make it in the top 15, far from it but these tracks have, in a way or another, influenced and or touched me during the course of 2011.

Our goal, which has not changed since the beginning of the station in November 2008, still remains to make our listeners and viewers discover some kickass music!

BeN

Radio hosting, for BeN, began in April of 2008 after meeting the director of another radio station. Not long after that, he noticed that the views of that director and his views were totally different. So began, on November 1st 2008, the big Radiorockcafe adventure. Promoting the Indie bands is what BeN is all about and he gets pretty vocal about discrimination towards the Indies and also on how the music business is being lead into a brick wall.
