Radiorockcafe.com is first and foremost a website for Indie music lovers AND Indie bands/artists.
50% of our content is INDIE MUSIC!! mixed with the best of today\'s and yesterday\'s music.
To help promote the Indie music, every 30 minutes(at the top and bottom of the hour), we broadcast 2 Indie songs taken at random from our music library.Furthermore, every Sunday at 8pm our show Indie Time will broadcast 1 full hour of Indie music either by doing interviews live on air with bands OR by presenting one or more songs from CD\'s we\'ve received over the last few weeks.
We are a listener controlled bilingual( some of our shows are in BOTH English and French) radio station. Listeners can do "requests" live on our website and their requests will be played within minutes on air.
WE ARE NOT a music download website. Recording, copying or ripping of the music played on this radio station IS ILLEGAL.
We\'re a REGISTERED COMPANY in the province of Quebec, Canada.
Radiorockcafe.com is a client of SOCAN (the Canadian copyright collective that administers the performing rights of more than 90K artists,which is the equivalent of SoundExchange, BMI, ASCAP, APRA and UK PPL . We have a UNIQUE special request system. This system is not an email system where you have to wait for someone to take the request, it\'s all automated EVEN when there are no hosts on air. Once your music is included in our library, your fans will be able to request and listen within minutes.
This is NOT a VOTE system, where people need to VOTE to get the songs on the airwaves. As mentioned previously, as soon as the music is in our library, it becomes immediately available for everyoneto request and hear.
